Through this virtual experience, we seek to provide students with meaningful, relevant, practical work experience which compliments classroom activity and career interests. In addition, we seek to offer this experience through an innovative, flexible format which allows the student to work remotely via a flexible work schedule that meets the student’s needs. Further, we seek to support the pipeline of talented, qualified, and career ready students needed to support our regional workforce.
This experiential learning model will feature a virtual internship experience where all the work will be conducted remotely via a laptop. The internship will include tasks completed largely independently with periodic, scheduled check-in sessions.
A strong connection to the Portuguese community is desired.
Available for at least 5-10 hours per week
This position is virtual and does not have set hours. This position is not paid, however PALCUS will provide any required documentation for class credit.
