September 2023

Message from the Executive Director

Dear PALM Community,

I'm thrilled to welcome you to a month of enriching experiences designed for our active and vibrant senior community. This September promises to be a particularly rewarding time, and I'm delighted to unveil some of the highlights.

Firstly, I'm excited to announce our upcoming "Tech Time" for seniors 6-week series, which will be available both via Zoom. Whether you're a tech novice looking to become more digitally savvy or simply want to refresh your skills, this series will have something for everyone.

For movie lovers, we have two special treats. Our "Movie and a Meal" event focuses on classic films and comes with the added bonus of a meal. In contrast, our "Movie Night" is geared towards modern movies and will feature current hits for a cozy evening of entertainment.

Our Line Dancing sessions are just the thing for those looking to add some rhythm and energy to their week. These sessions are not only a great workout but also loads of fun. Don't worry if you have two left feet; it's all about enjoying yourself!

Are you or someone you know in need of a space for an upcoming event? PALM's elegant event hall is available for rent! The hall accommodates up to 100 guests and has chairs, tables, tech amenities like a flat-screen TV and projector, a fully-equipped kitchen, and ample parking. It's ideal for business meetings, retreats, birthdays, receptions, and more. Reach out to us for pricing and availability.

Also, our September Lunch Menu and Activities Calendar are now available. Expect a range of mouth-watering options, and an array of activities that have something for everyone.

Please take a moment to register for these events and keep an eye out for more updates.

Here's to an engaging and joyful September at PALM!

Sincerely,

Dawn S. Allen
