Join the 30/30 Challenge!

June is Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month, and we're holding our annual 30/30 event , which helps to raise money for cats in need. We're asking 30 people to donate $30 throughout the month of June, and we'd also like to receive Happy Endings stories from 30 of our PALS alumni . Please help us reach our goals for the fourth year in a row!

You can donate through  PayPal , through our  website, or at our Adoption Center during adoption hours. To share your Happy Endings story, email sandy@palscats.org . PALS (and the kitties) thank you!

On May 12, PALS brought kittens in for a meet-and-greet at Wicked Good Books in Salem. Despite the dreary weather, it was a great afternoon at PALS Kitten Adoption Day . It is always nice to visit with past adopters and make new connections. Thank you, Wicked Good Books , for your continued support!

UPCOMING: Come visit us at the North Shore Pride Festival Saturday, June 22 on Salem Common.
At PALS, we pride ourselves on finding happy homes for our lovable rescues. This month's Happy Endings Story belongs to Victor.

Victor, one of our adorable, cuddly tabby-and-white kittens, was adopted by Ariana in March. He's setting in nicely with his feline sister Meadow, another PALS adoptee, as you can see from this photo his family was kind enough to share with us , Congrats to all — another Happy Ending!

Check out our Facebook page for additional Happy Endings stories, and email sandy@palscats.org with your Happy Endings story and pictures of your PALS cat. We love seeing your updates and photos, and we can't wait to hear from you!

Are you in the market for a new feline addition to your family? Then look no further than PALS Animal Life Savers for a loving companion who is sure to warm your heart.

Cali is a beautiful 12-year-young red patch tabby. She is in good health for her age. She does not require prescription food and uses traditional over-the-counter supplements for joint comfort. Cali is affectionate and low energy with a bit of sass, and would make a nice companion in an older, quiet home.

For more information on how to adopt Cali, or to see our other available cats, please visit our website .
Do you love cats? Are you looking for a new volunteer opportunity? Look no further! PALS Animal Life Savers is currently seeking dedicated and passionate volunteers for FCS (Feed-Clean-Socialize) shifts at our shelter at 10 Traders Way in Salem, We are also always looking for people who are willing to foster.

Volunteering at PALS is a rewarding experience and a great opportunity — and you get the added bonus of playing with cats and kittens!

As we're getting our gardens and houseplants ready for the season, we thought we'd share a few cat-friendly gardening tips. For example, did you know that lilies can be lethal to cats if ingested?
