Founder 120 H is a very unique loudspeaker. It is so much more than the sum of its parts. The amount of detail engineered into this remarkable performer is breathtaking.
Starting at the top there is the:
1" Aluminum Magnesium Ceramic AL-MAC dome tweeter with a proprietary Oblate Spherical Waveguide OSW and a Perforated Phase-Aligning PPA Lens.
The Founder 120H midrange is a 6" Aluminum Magnesium AL-MAG cone with a Perforated Phase-Aligning PPA Lens, an Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT Isolation Mounting System, and a 2” high-temp multi-layered voice coil with ventilated Apical former.
The Founder’s three bass drivers are each 8” Ultra-High-Excursion Unibody CARBON-X™ Cone with over-molded Gen3 Active Ridge Technology ART Surround secured with an Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT Isolation system and driven with a 1.5” high-temp multi-layered voice coil with ventilated Apical former.
The Founder 120H employs an internal DSP-controlled 1000 W RMS amplifier for the 3 bass drivers providing extreme control and performance.
