Most of us take the position that the power from our electrical grid is a solid electrical supply. We plug in and hope for the best. Unfortunately it is far from this perception. There are voltage irregularities, harmonic disturbances, and surges that are present and enter the residences and businesses we install our gear in. Additionally, the building's equipment contributes to the underperformance by adding more surges, noise and other anomalies.

The realities of our power needs... LRX85 4-Panel Expert Series

LRX83 are the entry point in the Expert Series with a 3-way design. They have very wide dispersion measured at 170 degrees. They offer response within 3DB from 40 Hz to 20 KHz as visible here. They are of medium efficiency best driven by a good amplifier. The new Sonos Amp should drive them easily while Stealth Acoustics own SA2400MKII will make them sing!
The LRX85 [pictured above in this article] takes performance up to the limits by separating the QuadDrive midranges [4 each Neodymium engine drivers] and the Tweeter to an ideal panel and then providing two Acoustic Lever loaded 8" woofers on a separate panel. This deluxe design allows for even lower distortion and installation flexibility as the panels can be arranged side-by-side, vertically with the woofers below or above, and more.
