~ FAMILY STEM CHALLENGE! ~

The December STEM Challenge is to create a gift for someone. One lucky student will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card for submitting a picture of your projects to the St. Rose STEM Family Google Classroom. An additional entry will be entered if they tell who they made the gift for and why. Pictures of the project need to be posted no later than January 6th.

Natalia created this video to demonstrate some of the many moves that she could do.

Staff Shout Outs! Janel Nord "Mrs Nord is well organized especially virtual classes. In addition, she communicates well between parents and teachers. When we shifted from inperson to homeschooling she made sure we received all the items needed so that we were not behind. The ice breaker is when she makes each child feel special by listening to them. Even though they keep interrupting the classes with their none school related stories ( they are many!). Mrs. Nord is a true gem." Lucia Campos "She goes above and beyond for her kindergartners. Always has an upbeat and friendly attitude and always encourages the kids to do their best. Her bubbly personality keeps the kids engaged especially during this tough time and doing virtual classes are the best. We need more Mrs. Campos in the world that’s for sure!" ❤️ Candy Arellano "Ms. Candy goes above and beyond when working with our son. She is kind, patient and dedicated. In a school year that is far from normal, she has been a consistent source of comfort and assistance for our family. We are so grateful she is a part of Pinecrest staff and is involved with our son's education. " Natalie Metcalf "She always speaks positive and encourages the kids to give it their all. Love her sweet self for always helping her students out. She definitely has her students best interest and is on top of their education in completing all work to get the best grade possible. Pleasure to have her as our son’s 2nd grade teacher.
