Capture The Campus

Ms. Kendrick's accelerated math class reviewed surface area and volume by creating 3D shapes with their pancakes. They then calculated the surface area and volume of their shape.

Her other math classes reviewed ratios by determining the ratio of pancake mix to water for various amounts of pancakes. They then calculated the unit rate of cooking one pancake.

Ms. Valenzuela's class presented their book projects and dressed up for President's Day!

Musician Of The Month

As January draws to a close; we say farewell to Hans Zimmer and hello to our musician of the month for February.

It has been so exciting to see how Hans Zimmer has excited our elementary students and how the power of soundtracks can really transform movies. Parents, please ask your children about what facts they can tell you about Hans Zimmer!

As a Panther community; we have learned that Mrs. Brouwers can play Pirates of the Caribbean on the piano, as can members of Mr. Q's family too! Students even taught Mr. Yeo that he wrote the music for Kung Fu panda!

Mr. Yeo can't wait to dive into teaching about The Supremes in February!
