Student Spotlight

Jack and Julia Snyder spent some of their weekend volunteering for the Just One Project, a non-profit local organization that provides food to those in need. During the event, Jack and Julia helped load food into 100 cars and distribute food to those who were on foot. In addition to giving back to the community, Jack was also earning volunteer hours to help fulfill his membership commitment in National Junior Honor Society. The Just One Project allows people of all ages to volunteer and learn the importance of giving back.

We have partnered with PTO to shine the spotlight on an amazing student who is making waves in the community and/or in the school.

Musician Of The Month

This month in elementary music we're going on a musical adventure to discover the incredible world of Hans Zimmer, a legendary composer of movie soundtracks! Like a wizard of music, he creates delicate melodies and heart-pounding rhythms that bring the magic of movies to life.

Students should be able to share two songs of his that we have listened to in class! Parents; can you share some movies you have seen with his music too?

Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school.
