PE SPOTLIGHT
This week's SHOUTOUT goes to Kalel L. from 1st Grade.
Kalel demonstrated his advanced dribbling ability during this PE lesson. He had wonderful control of the ball with great skill. Way to go!!!
MUSIC SPOTLIGHT
This week's musical SHOUTOUT goes to Sarah H. from 5th Grade.

She deserves to be recognized for her achievements in this quarter's music rotation, achieving excellent scores in all her assignments.

The class had a competition in which they had to perform a piece of music that combined their understanding of Kodaly terminology whilst clapping; which Sarah won for her excellent demonstration of the terms learned whilst keeping an impressively steady pulse.

She also teamed up with her sister to sing a beautiful song for her entry to the end of quarter 'talent contest,' which was a reward for the class' hard work this quarter.

Her entry to the talent contest can be viewed by clicking the Image above
The second SHOUTOUT must go to Arianna S. from 5th Grade for winning the other competition that was set for the 5th Graders where they had to perform a specific rhythm (based on the well known 'Cup-song') a set amount of times.

Arianna went the extra mile, by performing the rhythm pattern incredibly well on her cup whilst singing the lyrics to the song beautifully!

Go Arianna!
