SPECIALISTS' HIGHLIGHTS
ART SPOTLIGHT

CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO THE RIGHT TO SEE THE FULL PDF OF RYAN'S ARTWORK!

Mrs. Haskel says, "Ryan Mcdonough (2nd Grader from Mrs. Metcalf's class) did an awesome job on his Art project! His pages are super creative and he made the project his own in a very creative way!'

MUSIC SPOTLIGHT
"The Pinecrest St. Rose Music Program is focused on getting learners of all ages to read and perform musical notation. This semester's focus is 'Rhythm & Pulse' where students learn the Kodaly methodology of representing and interpreting rhythms through syllabic representation of note values. Despite students having to engage with their learning virtually, it has not become a barrier to our student's engagement, enjoyment and successful participation during these lessons."

STEM SPOTLIGHT
STEM shout out to Kindergarten student, Jordan Wong, for his pipe cleaner beanstalk (pictured left).
STEM shout out to siblings, Mikayla (1st grade) and Mariano (Kindergarten) for working together as they tried to build the tallest beanstalk using TEN pipe cleaners (pictured above)!
STEM shout out to Elijah Macaraeg (4th Grade)! Here is his completing a senses test to see if he can guess all the items ONLY using the sense of smell (pictured above)!
CELEBRATING OUR READERS!
Give it up for our avid readers in Grades K-5, who completed the September Myon Book Challenge! These students finished a book mark with a series of books related to LEADERSHIP SKILLS!
