We sure are delighted to start welcoming SOME of our students back on campus! School just isn't the same without the physical presence of our students!
As you begin preparing for the transition, do remember to TRY ON THOSE UNIFORMS in case your littles have done some extra sprouting! :)
Masks are Mandatory for any students returning to campus. All masks must be either SOLID COLORorSCHOOL PURCHASED. A fee of $1 will be applied for any student who does not have a mask.
Have you noticed a new grading systemfor your child's Specials classes? You are NOT losing your mind! K-5 Specialists are using an O, S, N system in order to better serve our community. These grades translate as follows:
O = OUTSTANDING
S = SATISFACTORY
N = NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

MUSIC SPOTLIGHT
"The Pinecrest St. Rose Music Program is focused on getting learners of all ages to read and perform musical notation. This semester's focus is 'Rhythm & Pulse' where students learn the Kodaly methodology of representing and interpreting rhythms through syllabic representation of note values. Despite students having to engage with their learning virtually, it has not become a barrier to our student's engagement, enjoyment and successful participation during these lessons."
