Your friends at Cornelius PARC are on a mission to bring you ways to keep busy, stay engaged, decompress, and maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit.
Summer Camps!
We are so excited to share that we WILL be offering camps this summer! We can't offer all of them, some of the locations have changed, and all of those we'll be offering will look different, with social distancing and other precautions in place. Please visit our summer camps webpage for all the details, including information on which camps are canceled and which are not, a letter from the PARC Director regarding refunds and other details, and a link to register for remaining spaces.
Keep Moving
Do your kids miss being out on the court? We suggest you check out Jr. NBA at Home , featuring interactive videos by NBA and WNBA players that can be completed individually and in limited space. These videos offer drills, activities, and instruction to promote skill development, physical activity, and character development.
Learn Something New
The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources has a great website all the time, and now they have added NC Learn at Home , full of educational resources and enriching experiences. You will find lesson plans, virtual tours, digital archives, links to blogs and podcasts, and more. All ages can use this site to learn about North Carolina and many of its treasures!

Partner Spotlight
Lake Norman Little League
Cornelius PARC partners with Lake Norman Little League to provide baseball and softball for area youth. This awesome, volunteer-run organization serves close to 1,000 kids each season. While their spring season was interrupted, they are looking forward to returning to the field in the fall. Meanwhile, visit their site for dozens of training videos for both baseball and softball players at all levels.
We believe that parks are essential, now more than ever! All Town of Cornelius parks remain open at this time, though p laygrounds and restrooms remain closed. Please note that we can only keep the parks open if YOU practice social distancing - that is, a physical distance of at least six feet. That means no doubles, no groups, no shared equipment unless among immediate family sharing the same household. Please, we need your help so we can keep our parks open!
