PARCS UPDATE #206 - October 6, 2022

PREPARING FOR OUR PARCS CONVENTION

You will find a copy of this newslettter in the NEWSLETTER section at the top of our website

https://www.skparcs.com

There have been 14 newsletters since July 20th when PARCS announced the program for their proposed 2022 convention (see list below).   Our Sept. 27th newsletter announced our decision to switch to a virtual convention.   Since then, every newsletter has included the LINKS for advance registration (see bottom of this newsletter).

We are very pleased with the number of participants who have already registered.  Our volunteer technician, Chuck Deschamps, has concluded training sessions with almost all of our presenters:

Our first session has a cadre of highly regarded experts who will explain what must happen to keep our lakes clean.

Our second session includes residents from 9 different cottage communities who will share their stories.

Our third session first includes a speaker from Advisory Services, followed by the Ministry's Director of Legislation and Regulation speaking to RMs and OHs about proposed changes to the rules about how they are to work together.
