This update continues to address our goal of following the work of the Water Security Agency as they meet with representatives from selected input groups (32 agricultural, 8 environmental, 5 research, 4 municipal & 21 indiginous).
In PARCS UPDATE #218.1, we described the November 28th meeting of the PARCS Board with two WSA consultants. The PARCS Board was one of 70 organizations that were hosted at one of these small group introductory meetings.
In PARCS UPDATE #218.2, we described the December 8th large group meeting with delegates from many organizations - who considered their collective vision for: water quantity, water quality, wildlife resources, Saskatchewan's ag. economy, and Saskatchewan's communities.
Today, in PARCS UPDATE #218.3, we share with you a link to to the 24-page document, (released in December), Developing Agricultural Water Management Policy that will be used during the new year, January and February, to draft an actual policy for unveiling in March of 2023.
