Support pollinators and spark a conversation with your neighbors

Purchase and place this sign in your yard as a reminder to hold off on mowing, for just one area, one month, or more! No Mow May is a great starting point: letting grass and low-growing plants like white clover, self-heal, and creeping thyme grow gives newly emerged native pollinators and bees the habitat and food sources they need at a critical time of year.

How long can you go? If you can, leave a patch undisturbed all season. Some insects, like fireflies, don't emerge as adults until mid-June, so the longer you can wait, the better. Every yard is different; do what works best for yours!

Each sign is just $30 and includes a metal wicket. You can purchase online or by stopping by our office between 8:30am-4pm M-F. All proceeds support PAREI's annual fund, which supports our edible garden at the NH Solar Shares picnic pavilions and building a new outdoor gathering and garden space at the Local Foods Plymouth pavilion.

Clean Your Fridge to Stay Healthy &

Save Money

Spring cleaning your fridge should be at the top of your to do list!

Mold, mildew, and odors might be lurking alongside your delicious leftovers. Yuck. Don't stop cleaning once the inside is sparkling!

Removing the dust from your refrigerator coils can save you money on your energy bill by making it run more efficiently.

Pictured above is a refrigerator coil brush cleaner that can be used to remove dust bunnies and pet dander.

Plans are Underway to Expand Plymouth Solar Shares Site

We are adding an 8.9 kW DC array to the existing 28.8 kW DC system. This new addition will provide on-bill credits monthly to five additional families, bringing the total to 15 local families who will receive monthly bill credits based on the production at the Plymouth array. In addition, this 8.9 kW will contribute 11,613 kWh annually in clean energy to our local grid.

We are also planning to beautify the site, expand our community edible garden, and upgrade the playground space to make it more welcoming to the community.

Thank you to Pemi Treeworks for clearing the site. In addition to donating their time, they also gave us the wood chips which will be a huge help in getting our Solar Trail up and running this spring.

Feel free to stop by, walk the trails, and pick any produce from the edible garden later this growing season!

We've written a few grants to help fund this project, but are waiting to hear. If you wish to support the Plymouth Solar Shares expansion project, please click and choose to direct your gift to NH Solar Shares.
