The Children's Trust is proud to announce that its annual Family Expo, which was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, returns this year with four Pop-Up Style events at locations throughout Miami-Dade County from late August through September. The Family Expo events will take place on Saturdays, from 10 am to 3 pm (Sept. 25th West: 10 am - 1 pm Drive-Thru Event).

The Family Expo is a great opportunity for parents to learn of the wealth of resources and opportunities available to their children including after-school and enrichment programs, nutrition education, injury prevention, programs for children with special needs, pre-K registration information and KidCare outreach.

The Family Expo will abide by all current CDC and local regulations, with personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer available. Masks are REQUIRED for all exhibitors, staff and volunteers throughout the event. Masks are required indoors for all attendees ages 2 years old and up. Masks are recommended outdoors for all attendees ages 2 years old and up. Maintain a six-foot distance when possible.

The Children's Trust Book Club
It’s never too early to help your child develop a love for reading! The Children's Trust invites you to meet new friends and explore exciting stories during their new and improved Book Club! Children ages five years and younger who live in Miami-Dade County can sign up to have a new book in English or Spanish that they can keep mailed to them every month for free.

Included in each package is a guide for parents with activities and information on how to share the book with even the youngest of readers.
