ELECTRONIC VOTING

Governor Newsom has signed into law Assembly Bill 2159, which adds a new section "i" to Civil Code Section 4105. This new law will finally allow California HOAs to conduct membership votes electronically. Electronic voting will be allowed starting on January 1, 2025. However, each California community association must first update its Election Rules to take advantage of this new change in the law.

Mary and her husband, Fernando, had a great night under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl where they enjoyed (and we're sure, danced to) the sounds of Boyz 2 Men and Paula Abdul for their 21st anniversary Happy, happy anniversary you two!

Meghan and her husband, Josh, recently celebrated their 9th anniversary. Congratulations Meghan and Josh - wishing you many more years of love and happiness!

Candice and Allen explored Santa Barbara and Hearst Castle over a long birthday weekend of food, wine, gorgeous scenery, and out of this world architecture.

Grachelle traveled to Singapore where she visited the Sentosa Gardens and Universal Studios - what a fabulous experience!

Georgina recently celebrated her birthday with a wine tasting trip to Parras de la Fuente in Mexico. She had a great time and highly recommends the reds by Casa Madero winery.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

"Autumn into winter, winter into spring, spring into summer, summer into fall. So rolls the changing year, and so we change. Motion so swift, we know not that we move." This transitional time between fall and winter is so beautifully stated by Dinah Maria Mulock Craik, an English novelist and poet who lived from 1826-1887.

For me, it's about reconnecting with friends and family and cherishing the moments together. I especially enjoy the times when I'm catching up with my sons - one of whom is studying abroad and the other who is starting to make his way outside of college. What does this time of year mean to you?

As we move through this transitional season, I'm excited to share some updates and insights. From key updates of the Corporate Transparency Act and electronic voting, to exploring lighter topics like book and movie recommendations and information on where you can find the freshest produce from certified local growers - there's something for everyone.

As the holidays approach, I wish you peace, warmth, happiness, and blessings. May it be a time filled with light, love, happiness and cherished moments. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and yours from all of us at Partners Community Management!
