"SCOPE has been an invaluable partner in our efforts to educate the public about the opportunities within the growing life sciences industry in the St. Louis region.  As the only training program for bench technicians in the bio sciences, the St. Louis Community College Biotechnology program offers an opportunity for students to gain the skills needed to get great paying jobs with only a two year degree, while paving the way for higher education options as well.  With the speed at which the industry is growing in St. Louis we cannot currently keep pace with the demand for skilled technicians and the SCOPE programs that we partner with assist us in getting the word of this opportunity out to the public, while showing parents and students that science isn't hard, it's fun!"
Dr. Richard Norris, Director, St Louis Community College Plant and Life Sciences Center

"We thought it wouldn't be hands on experience, but it was and it was great to hear about all the colleges, programs, and other special events."

"I was impressed that my 4-year-old was so engaged in the 3D activity and the Robot Table."

"It is always very exciting to visit with families. I met a new employer that needs multiple interns and employees from my major. We may have never met if it was not for this event."
