Keep brainstorming, we still need help in all areas! We have our committee chairs in place, and they would love your help in planning and assisting during the event in 2022. If you would like to participate, but aren’t sure where, we can share details on the various committee opportunities.

Financial Reporting & Tax Committee
|
|
Hi all, we are excited about this PASH year and continue to explore ideas to provide meaningful insights to you, our members.
For the Financial Reporting & Tax Committee members, please be on the lookout for email with polling questions in the upcoming weeks to indicate the topics that are most interesting or relevant to you. This will help the Committee Chairs to zero in the guest speakers for this PASH season. Stay tuned!
That being said, there have been few developments in the financial reporting as well as the tax worlds; a few topics that comes to mind are:
· Energy transition and ESG reporting considerations
· Accounting for government assistance programs
· Lease modifications and impairments (primarily for those adopted ASC 842)
· Rise of SPAC
If you are interested in participating in financial reporting & tax committee meetings, please reach out to the committee chairs, Pablo Lutenberg (PabloLutenberg@gmail.com) and Roger Shao (Roger.Shao@mossadams.com) and indicate topic(s) of interest; certainly not limited to the topics above. This will help us target speakers for topics that are most relevant for our committee members. Also, please feel free to let us know if you're aware of any speakers who have recently presented on subjects that may be of interest to our members that we can coordinate with.
Meanwhile, please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Thank you to our committee members for your continued support of PASH and our industry!

The Joint Interest Committee will be meeting at 3:00 PM on October 14, 2021 at the Whitehall.
We will primarily focus on the COPAS 202x A/P and MFI draft along with recent comments/responses, the drafting teams reply, followed by the JI committee vote on these two documents.

The Revenue Committee is looking forward to seeing everyone again in person for the October meeting - 3:00 PM, October 14th at the Whitehall.
This month the speaker for PASH Revenue Committee will be Catherine Brown (ExtraBold Sales). She is a local author and has recently released her first book “How Good Humans Sell”. Her topic this month for us will be called “Why Good Humans REALY Buy”. As we have many professional services vendors and professional services buyers in our group, her topic will be relevant to all. She will be present at the Whitehall Hotel in person and we will have a ZOOM option for participants.
If you have any questions, please email Lawrence Hackney at lfh@lfhcpa.com or Fay Lascelle at fay.lascelle@sbcglobal.com.
