Greetings!

Welcome to a new year and another edition of Patch Talk. The following is a typical custom patch buying scenario to show how easy it is to get from nothing to your perfect patch.

STEP 1. The phone call

The customer calls and spends about 10-15 minutes of Q&A with our Art Director. During that conversation the essence of the design is developed. No sketch required, but we can work from all sorts of customer-provided art as well. Also, no deposit is required for registered volunteers or staff.

STEP 2. INITIAL DESIGN

In this scenario, the customer wanted a camping scene with no people, a platform tent, a campfire, a forest and nature, and lettering. Our Art Department created a design we felt was what the customer wanted. In this case we provided the four options below. We love to give people choices.

STEP 3. FIRST REVISION

The customer selected Option 3 but wanted some revisions. We made the revisions and emailed the picture to them.

Option 3, Revision 1 is the result of this step.

STEP 4. SECOND REVISION

The customer wanted one final tweak - a red title. We made the change and sent them the option 3, revision 2 picture. The customer approved it and three weeks later had their patches in hand. Easy-peasy. They never even saw an invoice until after they had their patches.
