Patent Palooza! was a fantastic evening recognizing over 120 University of Kentucky faculty and staff innovators. The event kicked off with welcome remarks from Ian McClure, Vice President for Innovation, UK HealthCare, and Associate Vice President for Research, Innovation and Economic Impact, UK Research. Dr. Ilhem Messaoudi, Acting Vice President for Research, followed with her own remarks, highlighting the importance of innovation at UK.
Matthew Upton, Acting Director of Technology Commercialization at UK Innovate, then took the stage to recognize UK innovators and their respective colleges and centers for their achievements. It was a wonderful evening, filled with food, conversation and celebration of the impactful work happening across the university.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in Fall 2025, when we gather again to celebrate UK faculty and staff for their FY 2025 accomplishments!
