PATH Intl. COVID-19 Bulletin
April 15, 2020
A Bulletin for COVID-19-Specific Updates for PATH Intl. Centers, Individual Members, Certified Professionals & Friends

Today’s COVID-19 bulletin presents several free-to-members, useful virtual presentations by subject matter experts to help centers and professionals acclimate, evolve and stay connected with your clients during these difficult times.
State of Our Industry Survey
PATH Intl. is requesting a check in from center administrators and individual members through taking a brief (Really, less than two minutes!) survey. Please let us know how you're doing. The association's goal is to take a measurement of the current state of the industry during the quarantine. A summary of the collected data will be shared with members post analysis. The survey will remain open until Wednesday, April 22nd. THANK YOU!

PATH Intl. Standard A6 asks,
"Does the center meet federal, state and local laws?"

PATH Intl. recommends all centers be mindful of state and local mandates regarding operating during quarantine. Operating outside the law could be a liability risk to the center.
Remote Office Reminders
We have been extremely fortunate to easily adapt PATH Intl. headquarters to a remote office environment. Very few office processes have been impacted with the exception of a couple things requiring individuals to be in the office. Because the state of Colorado is still under a stay-at-home mandate, a few processes like member cards and printed merchandise have been delayed. But there are solutions for both! Learn more
$10 Conference Session Recordings for Members
PATH Intl. Members can now watch all previously recorded webinars and past-year conference recordings for only $10 each!  Simply log in to your member portal between now and May 31, 2020, add the chosen recording or webinar to your cart and you will only pay $10 each.
Concerned About Colic During the COVID-19 Quarantine?

With many horses seeing their exercise schedules suddenly reduced or eliminated, questions have cropped up if this creates a higher risk of colic. Equine Guelph at the University of Guelph, Canada, encourages horse owners and caretakers to assess their risk and adjust management practices to help reduce their chance of colic using a free online healthcare tool:  The Colic Risk Rater . We continue to research and gather information to assist centers in maintaining operations during this challenging time. If you have suggestions or ideas, please email Kathy Alm . We might include those ideas in a future communication.
