Enjoy today's bulletin in good health! These and other resources are always available on the PATH Intl. website COVID-19 page.
Boy, did we miscalculate!!

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to those who weren’t able to join yesterday despite having registered, we know how valuable your time is! The webinar had a 100-person maximum due to the breakout sessions, but spots were not limited to 100 in the registration system in an attempt account for the “no-shows” we typically experience. Well, surprise! This time, there were no no-shows. We will devise a better way for registration to be smoother should we offer this format in the future. In the meantime we hope you will enjoy the following.

Having Difficult Conversations While Operating
During the Pandemic
Recorded August, 25, 2020

As centers offer programming in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, many conversations are being had with staff, volunteers, participants and participants’ families/caretakers to ensure everyone is prepared to follow safe operating procedures. Some of these conversations may involve sharing information or decisions that could strike a sensitive chord for the recipient, causing them to respond with strong objection, confusion, disbelief or negative emotion. Watch the panel discussion for tips on how to navigate various types of difficult conversations you may need to have when bringing people back--or turning them away--for on-site activities.

This presentation was a Zoom meeting with a panel presentation followed by discussion in virtual breakout rooms.
