Call for Abstracts
Do you have a great idea you want to share with your PATH Intl. colleagues? Each year the PATH Intl. Region 5 Conference offers valuable learning opportunities for everyone involved in equine-assisted activities and therapies, including certified professionals, program administrators, volunteers, board members, participants, therapists and other medical professionals. Not only is there a variety of information shared through sessions, but attendees also have the opportunity to network with colleagues.

At this time PATH Intl. Region 5 is conducting a call for abstracts. Presentations vary and may include, but are not limited to, equine welfare, working with veterans, EFL, EFP, hippotherapy, personal development and administrative topics.

Deadline for abstract submission: April 15, 2017

Fees:

We look forward to your participation in the inaugural PATH Intl. Virtual Conference! If you have any questions or contact Ashley Inghram, Education and Membership Representative.

Resources to Help Centers
In response to member requests, PATH Intl. has provided three resources (attached) for centers so that they can easily include PATH Intl affiliation in all of their press releases. The resources provide an assortment of options so that centers can choose the verbiage that best matches their situations and news article/ center communication goals. The Fact Sheet provides information about specific info. that they may want to communicate.
Centers benefit by:
  • Providing additional value statement for their centers and staff
  • Setting them apart by educating the public about the difference between the centers and professionals that can demonstrate commitment to education, training, and industry standards and those who can't
  • Being part of a grass roots effort to make PATH Intl. Centers and certified professionals a more recognized "brand," which benefits all centers and certified professionals.
**If every PATH Intl. Center and PAC included the info in their communications about their centers and certified professionals, PATH Intl. centers and certified professionals would become a more recognized distinction among the general public. Working together and including this information in all center communications, we can make PATH Intl. a distinguished and respected organization valued by the general public.
