TIME TO CELEBRATE! PATH Intl. Member of the Month
50th anniversary logo_ blue logo with green banner_ 1969 to 2019
Congratulations to Cynthia Linsenbardt, the PATH Intl. Member of the month for April!

Cynthia Linsenbardt_ blonde woman with white horse The PATH Intl. Member of the Month for April is Cynthia Linsenbardt a PATH Intl. Certified Instructor from Bloomington, IN, who lends her expertise and passion to the fine folks at People and Animal Learning Services, Inc. a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center also in Bloomington.

Cynthia first joined PATH Intl. in 2011 to pursue instructor certification after a few years of volunteering at different EAAT facilities. She says her favorite thing about belonging to the EAAT community is that, "We are all on the same team - everyone is about helping the riders and caring for the horses, instead of competing and making money off of them." The New PATH Intl. Database Has Launched!
At long last the association is able to announce the launch of a new fabulous member benefit--a brand new, more interactive, user-friendly association management system (AMS)! For several months we've been sharing in the  PATH Intl. eNews some of its cool new features and now it's time to show you what we've been so excited about. We think you will be pleased to see some information you weren't able to view in the previous system, such as your continuing education hours (CEUs) and a progress bar for those in the certification process to map their progress and items needing completion.

On Monday April 15th all members and center primary contacts received a welcome email with the user name and link to set a password. If you did not receive it please check your spam account or contact the PATH Intl. office.

We invite you to get accustomed to navigating this new member experience, where you can:
* Update your contact information
* Complete your instructor compliance forms online
* Review any past transactions or open invoices
* Browse the new online store
* Find your purchased downloadable education items
* Search the new member directories
* Register for PATH Intl. events

Please check that all your information (such as your contact information) is correct. Errors in your contact information are something members can and should update or correct themselves. To report inaccuracies in your membership or certification information, please contact Karen Province, or call (800) 369-7433, ext. 103.

To maximize your user experience, we have created several how to videos:

They can also be found on the PATH Intl. website.

Call for Scholarship Judges
PATH Intl. is now seeking volunteer judges to help in the 2019 scholarship process to read and score essays. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity as each essay read is encouraging, challenging and inspiring.

How it works:
  • You will be asked to carefully read and evaluate three short essays (200 words or less) per nomination.
  • Each essay is scored on a scale from 1-10.
  • The PATH Intl. office will provide clear guidelines and forms on how the nominations are to be evaluated and scored.
  • The judging process requires a time commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours between June 21 and July 5.
Applicant Requirements:
  • Must be a PATH Intl. member in good standing
  • Must have access to a computer with internet
How to Apply:
Submit the below information to Missy Dedrick by May 31st
  • Name
  • Member #
  • Region
  • Email address
PATH Intl. CTRI Certification Exam Pilots
Sign-ups for two additional trial exams for the PATH Intl. CTRI certification remain open. The dates and locations for these trials are:
PATH Intl. Region 10 Conference (Colorado Springs, Colorado)
May 3, 3:30 to 6 p.m. MT

PATH Intl. Region 4 Conference (Augusta, Michigan)
May 16, 1:30 to 4 p.m. ET

The purpose of the trial exams is to confirm that the PATH Intl. CTRI certification exam questions perform to expectations and to determine an appropriate cut score (passing score) for the exam. For security of the exam questions, the trial exams will be offered in written pen and pencil format, administered by a test administrator from Professional Testing, Inc.

Participation can count for 2.5 Riding CR or 2.5 CE continuing education hours (CEUs). Trial exam scores will NOT be recorded nor impact any certifications held nor future certification applications. The exam questions will be scored with the sole purpose of analyzing question performance across all exams completed, NOT analyzing individual tester performance.

Please contact Bret Maceyak to sign up for any of these trials. (Please specify in your email the date or location you wish to sign up for.)
