EQUUS Foundation Launches New Online Platform Linking Adoptable Horses With Centers
PATH Intl. pewter sponsor EQUUS Foundation believes all horses, even champions of the racetrack and the show ring, may only be one unlucky sale away from abuse, neglect and slaughter. America's horses need homes where they can flourish not only as athletes, but also as companions, teachers, and especially healers. To help make that happen the EQUUS Foundation established the Next Chapters program, a new online platform featuring horses ready for adoption. What makes Next Chapters unique is that it also features a horses wanted area for organizations looking for program horses.

"We hope that Next Chapters will help dramatically increase the number of adoptions of America's horses in transition and reduce the numbers of horses potentially at risk by providing horse owners with available options," said Lynn Coakley, EQUUS Foundation President. Available horses are in the care of dedicated and deserving EQUUS Foundation Guardian charities that are safeguarding the comfort and dignity of America's horses as they await their next chapters.

Many PATH Intl. Center Members have already listed their needs on the site. Click here to learn more!
