Piloting of New Chat Box Function on Website
Some of you might have happened upon a new feature the association is testing. It's a chat function on the home page of pathintl.org and it's already proving very popular! In the lower right corner of the home page you will see a chat icon indicating if a PATH Intl. representative is online live. It's a new way in addition to phone and email to get answers to your questions! When all the bugs are worked out, there will be an announcement of its official launch!
On Newstands Now!
In the last eNews, we introduced readers to the new copper sponsor Smart Tie Products. We can now introduce you to Michelle Anderson who is our contact with Smart Tie, is a PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Anderson with her twin sister are featured in a deeply inspiring People Magazine human interest story! Updated handbooks for other PATH Intl. certification programs are still to come. Keep an eye on the eNews to learn more!
ATTENTION: Currently Certified PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructors
In anticipation of the RTRI certification program phasing out at the end of 2020 and being replaced by the PATH Intl. CTRI certification program, remember that transition to the PATH Intl. CTRI credential must be completed no later than December 31, 2020 in order to maintain active PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor certification into 2021. Watch this short video tutorial to learn about the process.

Get your transition started by completing payment for the CTRI Maintenance Fee to initiate enrollment in the online test. (Please allow three business days for enrollment.) Once you've successfully passed the test, fill out the CTRI Transition Form and email it to [email protected] to finish the transition process. It's that simple! Questions? Contact Brittney Holdman.
Exciting News From American Horse Council
Two items of note in the recent Washington Update from the American Horse Council will benefit equine-assisted therapies (EAT). First, Congress recommends in the appropriations law.that the Department of Veterans Affairs devote $1.5 million for EAT. Second, the new law devotes new resources to the Department of Veterans Affairs Adaptive Sports Program with a $16 million appropriation, an increase from the previous $9 million.
Save Money on the Things You Buy Anway
Feedback has been terrific about the new PATH Intl. Member Perks benefit that launched in the fall. Members have reported they've enjoyed exploring the seemingly endless discounts customized to their individual communities. If you haven't explored it yourself, you definitely should! In addition to equine- and farm-related offers, you can save on everything from dining out and movie tickets to hotels and computers. With over 302,000 available discounts across 10,000 cities in the United States and Canada, you'll never be far from savings.

If you ever decide you'd rather not see messages about offers in your inbox from Abenity, you can always opt out and back in again while continuing to be enrolled in the program through PATH Intl.

And if you've been taking advantage of some killer deals, let us know! More info
