IMPORTANT UPDATE : 2020 PATH Intl. Conference and Annual Meeting
Everyone and everything has been impacted to some degree by the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 PATH Intl. Conference and Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for October 8-11, 2020, in St. Louis, MO, is no exception. With such uncertainty surrounding travel, social distancing and other factors yet to be seen for the quickly approaching fall, PATH Intl. has worked with the hotel in St. Louis to move our contract to 2022 instead.

Therefore, there will be no in-person event this fall. We are disappointed in that we so look forward to being together each year and know how much work by presenters, volunteers and staff has already been invested. Yet, taking all the factors into consideration, we believe it is the right decision.

We recognize the two main reasons members attend the conference are education and networking. PATH Intl. staff and volunteers are working to find new, fun ways for members to network and have some light-hearted fun time together. In addition, we will aim to present PATH Intl. business, such as the annual meeting, in a way that all members will have access, and we will devise ways for certified instructors to earn CEUs by acquiring the national-caliber education provided by the expert presenters the conference attracts.

Please stay tuned for updates as details will follow for the newly reimagined opportunities we'll be presenting for this fall. And save the date for next year's conference when we can all be together again, October 14-16, 2021, in Charlotte, NC, AND St. Louis in fall of 2022!
Why I Belong
During these stressful times and difficult circumstances, it's important to keep positive. We asked members at region conferences and elsewhere to share why they belong to PATH Intl.

"I belong to PATH Intl. because of the wealth of information they provide each year. I also like having standards and guidelines to help ensure we are
providing the best service. "
Jodie Barton

Thank you, Jodie!
Call for Awards Judges
Join PATH Intl. for the 2020 international awards process as a judge to read and score essays. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity as each essay read is encouraging, challenging and inspiring.

How it works:
  • You will be asked to carefully read and evaluate two to three short essays (200 words or less) per nomination.
  • Each essay is scored on a scale from 1-10.
  • The PATH Intl. office will provide clear guidelines and forms on how the nominations are to be evaluated and scored.
  • The judging process requires a time commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours between June 8 and June 21.

Region Rep Nominations -- Regions 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
One of the greatest benefits of being a member of PATH Intl. is the ability to have a voice in the leadership of the equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) industry. It's time to exercise that voice! Nominations are open for region representatives of even numbered regions: 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.

Nominations are due by June 1st. Submit the nomination form to your region representative. Your region representative contact information can be found on the region web page.

Also, don't forget to pay close attention to your region's community connections page; your region representatives will be calling for nominations and posting important information during the process.

Use your voice, today!
