Young Eagles Flight Program
Experience the Power of Flight
Local EAA Chapter 107 is once again offering a FREE opportunity to experience the Spirit of Aviation by hosting a Young Eagles flight on June 1, 2019!
Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated more than 25 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane. It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation. Today, more than 2 million young people have enjoyed a free introductory flight through the Young Eagles program. These flights are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.

Recognize Outstanding Scouters Today!
Do you know of a volunteer that could use some recognition for a job well done? How about someone who goes above and beyond on a regular basis, but seeks out no recognition of their own? There is likely an award that these individuals are qualified to earn, but they are often too humble to apply on their own. As the council prepares to present its Silver Beaver awards, your local district may have some equally-meaningful tokens of appreciation to share at their annual recognition events.

The Lodge will once again provide essential Scouting Skills sessions, along with some fun theme event competitions. This youth-led outdoor experience has become one of our Councils premiere events youth teaching youth the skills and values of Scouting. CLICK HERE for more info.
Cub Scouts, blue birds, wood ducks and bats, oh my!
In early March, members of Scout Pack 825 with help from CNY Wildfowlers assembled 10 bluebird, 6 wood duck and 4 bat houses to be placed on FitzPatrick property. The station purchased the houses from CNY Wildfowlers and then presented them to the scouts to assemble. While enjoying donuts, juice and chocolate milk, the scouts learned about the importance of the habitats they were building and their role in being environmental stewards.  CLICK HERE for the full article
