Sabattis Leaders Meeting
Saturday, March 21, 2020
All units attending Sabattis Scout Reservation in 2020 should send one or more adult leaders to discuss summer camp program and logistics with the camp administrative team. Youth leadership is welcome to attend as well. All leaders are encouraged to attend from 10 AM to 11 AM. The meeting will continue from 11 AM to 12 PM for leaders new to Sabattis to provide a more detailed orientation. The meeting will be held at the Scout Service Center at 2803 Brewerton Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211
Silver Beaver Nominations
The Silver Beaver is a national award presented by the Longhouse Council. It is among the highest honors that can be bestowed on a volunteer leader by a local council.
The Silver Beaver is presented for noteworthy service of exceptional character by councils to registered adult volunteers within the territory under the jurisdiction of a local council. Nominations and all supporting materials must be received at the Council Service Center by close of business on the last Friday of March each year. Electronic submissions should be sent to .

Merit Badge University
Are you looking for an opportunity for your Scouts to earn a couple of Merit Badge in one day? Well on Saturday, April 18, 2020 Longhouse Council will be holding a Merit Badge University where Scouts can earn up to Three merit badge in one day. The day will start at Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville at 8:30 AM. Registration will be available March 20th.
The best that Cub Scouting has to offer, close to home! Cub Scout Day Camp combines the most exciting things about being a Scout with summertime fun. Practice your aim at the BB gun or Archery ranges, create a masterpiece in Arts & Crafts, or learn a new knot in Scoutcraft. Swim, study local animals or test your skill on the sports field. Twilight Camp is an evening experience.
James “Marmaduke” Seton Trek Center
The James “Marmaduke” Seton Trek Center, located at Sabattis Scout Reservation, offers true high adventure opportunities. We are ready to fully equip your canoe or backpacking trip with canoes, tents, PFD’s, food, guides, and stoves/fuel. If high adventure is calling your older Scouts, let them answer it at the Seton Trek Center.

Can't get a crew together ask about the Week three provisional trek.
