We have put together a team of dynamic volunteers that are putting together a variety of pre-recorded and pre-event competitions as well as prepared for a series of live sessions on May 16
th
. Please pay close attention to the submission requirements and dates so that you and your family do not miss out on participating in some of these wonderful events. Here are some of the events with deadlines.

Council Campfire CookBook
Every unit has their favorite recipe for snacks around the Campfire. Submit your units favorite Campfire snack recipe with a photo and it will become part of the 1st Longhouse Council Campfire Cookbook. Submissions will require unit type Troop/Pack/Crew/Ship and unit number. Please include a little story of why this is your units favorite recipe. Submissions must be received by
Friday May 8th
and sent to

: Every Patrol and Den is encouraged to submit up to 5 pictures of their units to be included in the
Slide Show. File name should include the Unit #
Each submission should be
between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length,
unless MB requires more.

Oscars will be mailed to the Units. Categories are: 1. Best Picture 2. Best Sound Mixing 3. Best Comedy 4. Best Story 5. Best Costume Design 6. Best Film Editing 7. Best PSA 8. Best Commercial 9. Best Music Video 10. Best Skit 11. Best Scout Recruitment Film 12. Best Merit Badge Submission

While there is no limit on submissions, the Camporee Committee reserves the right to select from multiple entries due to time constraints and will jury for quality and appropriateness.
Online Safety
It is not a requirement to participate but we encourage everyone to take some time and review some of the BSA guidelines for Cyber Safety,
which involves educating our youth about privacy protections in an ever- expanding digital world.
