Dear Wardlaw Family, 

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week reflecting on all that we have to be grateful for. We are officially in the Christmas spirit here at Wardlaw Academy and the halls are filled with excitement and anticipation of the season. With that being said, I wanted to take the time to share our December Exam Schedule with you all. You can find it attached to this email. We are excited to offer the opportunity for our Sixth and Seventh graders to complete a project-based exam this year. We believe that this will help with their transition into Upper School and provide them with an assignment that encourages student growth. Sixth and Seventh grade teachers will provide further information on the requirements of this project-based exam. You will see with this schedule, it is broken down into grade levels. If you have any questions, I encourage you to please contact me or your child's teacher for clarification. 

In other news, we are excited to share a new feature of Upper School that is now available to parents and students. Our teachers have been hard at work creating and implementing an Upper School Testing Calendar available via Google Calendar. You can join this calendar using the link below. Please keep in mind that this calendar is flexible and subject to change based on instructional pacing and student readiness. We hope this calendar will provide you with the academic support and communication to ensure the success of your child.

LATE STAY NEWS:

THERE WILL BE NO LATE STAY DECEMBER 13TH, 14TH, AND 15TH.

We delivered 225 items to our local food pantry the first week, 242 items the second week, 240 in week three and 144 items in week 4.

Be sure to check the list below for the item of the week your student is assigned to bring!

The Celebration Fence is for you to decorate for your student or special person. The school does not decorate the fence. It is the parent's responsibility. You can use cups (as shown above), a banner that you have printed or anything you design that will not damage our fence.

It is a great way to share your celebration for all to see!
