Do you have a special talent that shows off one of the ARTS, such as singing, playing an
instrument, dancing, acting, or reciting poetry from memory?
If so, please consider auditioning for our Night of the Arts!
Our Night of the Arts will take place on Friday, March 8th at 6:00pm. (The students’ awesome artwork will also be on display this night!)
Auditions will be held on Thursday, February 22nd from 7:30-7:55am (Upper school students will audition in Mrs. Robeson’s room, and lower school students will audition in the library.)
Please be sure to spend time practicing your act outside of school, and bring any instruments, recordings, or other items you may need for your audition. (If you are playing a piano piece, we will provide a keyboard.)
We are only able to accept a limited number of acts, so please make sure that you are well-prepared for your audition.
Here are a couple of other important things to consider as you are deciding on an act:
- Songs and words need to be age-appropriate, as well as appropriate for a school
environment that is seeking to honor Christ as we celebrate the arts. (Please present a
copy of the lyrics when you audition.)
- If you are singing with a track, you will need to provide an accompaniment/karaoke
version of your song.
See Mrs. Robeson or Mrs. McClendon for an audition form that is due by Monday, February 12th so that we will know how many students are planning to audition.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email Mrs. Robeson at
firstname.lastname@example.org or Mrs. McClendon at email@example.com.
Looking forward to a great night of CELEBRATING THE ARTS together!
