West Suburban Humane Society was featured LIVE on the News!

On January 19th, the West Suburban Humane Society was featured on Fox 32 Chicago, LIVE from our Adoption Center! Our Executive Director, Carolyn Mossberger, spoke about adopting, fostering, getting involved, and our upcoming Girl's Night Out event.

Also featured was Belle (also known as Joelle), the sweet rescue pup who came to us needing medical help for her skin conditions, a growth in her paw, and a few other needs. This sweetheart is living in a WSHS foster home so she can get the love and care she needs to heal.

Foster homes make a huge difference for the pets we rescue, especially when advanced medical care is needed. Even temporarily, the love and attention of a dedicated home can help decrease stress and increase healing.

Girl's Night Out!

Join us on February 27th for Girl's Night Out! Grab your girlfriends and help WSHS care for our dogs and cats while they wait for their forever homes. Early bird tickets now available through January 31st.

January Pet Spotlight: Meet Tutuola!

Last July, Tutuola arrived at the West Suburban Humane Society weighing less than 2 pounds. A tiny kitten at first, he spent time in a foster home to get the close attention and care he needed. Since that time he has grown up to be strong and healthy. When he was old enough, he moved into the kitten room at our Adoption Center. He watched as both of his siblings were adopted, waiting patiently for his turn to come.

Now he is already 8 months old and living in our cattery, spending his time enjoying a nap in the cat tree or playing with the lazar pointer. He loves to be pet and gets along with everyone!

Tutuola has been waiting his whole life for a forever home. Please help us find a loving adoptive home for Tutuola, share his story!
