Therapy Rabbit Brings Joy to Children
By Karie Simmons, Newark Post Online

"Claude Monet isn't your typical New Zealand white rabbit. He doesn't appear out of a magician's hat, live in Wonderland or magically fill Easter baskets with candy. No, Claude is special for a much different reason - he's a therapy rabbit."

PAWS Shining Stars: Cheryl Costello & Kira
Kira, PAWS Therapy Companion

A woman called the PAWS office recently and said that she and her family were at Christiana Hospital on Tuesday very stressed and upset because her mother was having back surgery and they weren't sure if she was going to pull through. Then they had a visit from Cheryl Costello and Kira and it totally turned their day around. Kira lifted their spirits and gave them just the comfort they needed at a difficult time. The woman wanted to extend her sincere thanks for Cheryl, Kira, and all that we do."

Announcement for PAWS Members

Because of the generous spirit of PAWS for People, and their excellent service to the human animal bond, White Feather Farm would like to extend an invitation to support those who support.

As of April 2015, our farm offers complimentary services for both the human and canine partners that team up to work towards a better world.

In essence, animals just like other beings are intimately connected to the energy and emotions of others.  Being in that unseen field can be heavy over time, so come to the farm to unwind, and allow nature help you restore and let go.

Please visit our website, www.thewhitefeatherfarm.com - we look forward to your visit!  - Diane Mayer
