STICK: an adoption success story!

Do you remember Stick, who came to us in August after he was found on the side of the road? Once in our care, he had a seizure, and we discovered that he had a liver shunt, which cuts off blood to vital organs and is eventually fatal if not corrected with surgery. His surgery alone cost more than $5,000, and he required ongoing medication, which is also quite costly.

Stick decided to adopt his foster family, and is now living happily ever after in his forever home!

Because of donors like you were are able to go above and beyond to give him the surgery and care he needed to live a long and healthy life.

DOG FOSTERS NEEDED!

Every foster placement not only saves the dog in your care but also provides room in our shelter for us to save another dog.

Giving DuPage Days is coming! On May 1-5, the DuPage community will unite around causes in which we truly believe. 

It is really easy to participate and help raise funds for our cats and dogs – just SIGN UP HERE. During the 5 days of the event, you will receive ONE email from us each day, with a prewritten email &/or social media post to share with friends. You can choose if how often you post or email, but we will have done most of the work for you!

Are you looking to meet your perfect dog? Join us Sunday for our Big Dogs, Big Love Meet and Greet at the Adoption Center on April 16th from 11am-12:30pm.

We will have some truly incredible, amazing, loving pups looking for their forever homes.

RED DOG: Based on a true story of the wandering dog who hitches his way into a small mining town in Australia and into the hearts of each and every one of its residents.

Join us for pizza, pop and the movie.

$50 includes pizza, pop, the movie, and play time with our cats and dogs.
