Membership Goals It's that time of year again. The Membership Committee is asking all locals to report their membership goals for the remainder of the year. Please submit your goals to [email protected] before August 31. Remember the NAHB's Attention to Retention program is developing retention tools that you can use year-round to keep those numbers up.

Register for the Fall EO NAHB Orientation Don't miss the opportunity to learn about all the services NAHB provides to help EOs effectively lead their HBAs and assist their members. Register for NAHB Orientation, taking place Oct. 7-8 in Washington D.C., before the Sept. 6 deadline. The orientation provides EOs with the opportunity to become familiar with NAHB's programs, products, and services. Through networking with peers and NAHB staff, EOs will be able to effectively articulate the benefits and services of NAHB when they return home.  All full-time, part-time, and volunteer EOs of builder associations affiliated with NAHB are encouraged to attend. NAHB Orientation is designed to benefit EOs with less than five years of experience, however, all EOs are eligible to register. A travel stipend up to $1,255 is available to all registered attendees. Did you know that there are already customizable articles at your fingertips that you can use to engage your members? If you are looking for articles to use on topics like finding the right contractor, porch and deck maintenance, housing trends and more, local associations are encouraged to search the featured articles available through NAHB. All pieces can be customized to fit your particular area and can be used to submit to local media or use online. Check Out the Library Today

Building Pennsylvania Planning is underway for the next issue of PBA's magazine Building Pennsylvania . We are looking for information from everyone for the Spotlighting Local Associations section. Don't miss out on showcasing your members and their accomplishments in front of a statewide audience. Send photos and brief write-ups to [email protected] before September 30.

EO Survey Thanks to everyone who filled out the Executive Officer survey. To date we have received 28 (out of 32) replies! Results are being tallied and we will draw a winner for the VISA gift card at the Fall Board Meeting.
