Registration for the Winter 2021 Committee and Board of Directors Meetings is OPEN

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2021 Winter Committee and Board of Directors Meetings. All meetings will be held via conference call or through Zoom.

Because EOs are the first link to members, it's vital to have as many of you, as possible, participate in the various committee meetings. Committee members NEED to hear what your members are saying. It's also a great way to gather information that you can use to attract new members. PLUS - you can do it all from your home or office virtually!

Please promote to your members. It is very important that everyone do their best to increase member participation in all aspects of PBA. We all realize it is becoming more and more difficult to get members invested, but continuing to promote ways for them to have their voices heard is a great method.
"Bad for Builders"

Starting this month, GA staff will generate a comprehensive list of “Bad for Builders” bills that are introduced in the General Assembly. The list will be distributed to all Executive Officers as well as Regional Legislative Officers, and PBA Senior Officers. As the main source of information for your members, the goal is provide you with updated information to disseminate in a timely and accurate manner to help keep those members informed.

Meet Cindy Cepko, 2021 PBA President

With the new year underway, PBA has a new President. Many of you know Cindy Cepko, but take a few minutes to learn more about her. Her experience and goals for PBA may just be what your members are looking for.

New Legislators

Did you know that there are a total of 28 new members of the PA House of Representatives and six new Senators who have been elected to the General Assembly?

Every region in Pennsylvania is affected by at least one newly elected official. NOW is the time to get to know them. PBA encourages local associations to set up introductory sessions with new members. And don't forget to talk to YOUR members to see if there are any existing relationships.
REMINDER

All locals should have received the proposed PaCAH goals for the 2021-2022 cycle. Please remember to confirm or provide feedback on your local's PaCAH goal by the Winter Board Meeting.
