DUES INCREASE REMINDER The PBA Board of Directors approved a dues increase that will be effective January 1, 2020. A notice was sent to all local EOs and local Presidents on November 4. Please see a copy here.

Campaign Finance Reporting During the recent EOC Training Day, representatives from the Bureau of Campaign Finance and Civic Engagement provided a great overview of filing deadlines, procedures and processes. Pat Yourself on the Back! Has your local association produced some great materials or results this year? If the answer is yes, then you need to get some recognition! It's time to consider entering the 2019 Association Excellence Awards (AEA) - HBA Awards. There are a number of different categories and the entry deadline is April 3, 2020. Local of the Month November's Local of the Month is the Builders Association of Northwestern PA. The local is headed up by President Tom Montagna and EO Bob Himes. Read all about BANWPA here.

Bob Himes will be retiring as EO of the Builders Association of Northwestern PA on May 1, 2020. We would like to thank Bob for all his hard work and dedication. Enjoy your retirement, Bob!

Meet Bob Himes, BA of Northwestern PA EO How long have you been EO? I started as EO on March 1, 2012. However, I have been involved with the Builders Association since the 1980's. I was originally a Builder member, then a Board member, then President of the Association. What do you enjoy the most about your role? "The best part of my job is being able to stay in touch with the membership. I had my own Building and Remodeling business for 35 years. I was a member years ago and now can help members get the training they need or with help getting any answers for their business." What's a "fun fact" about you? "In 1984 my daughter was born, weighing 17.3 lbs. She is now living in Baltimore and is a registered dietitian. I also have a son living in Korea and another daughter living in Erie. I have been married for 43 years."
