January 9th Chamber Lunch Workshop!

Presenter: Cindi Crowley from Sales360plus

Location: Don's Original, 2055 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd

Time: 12:00

Getting ready for tax season can be quite challenging. Balancing your business responsibilities with those of your clients makes it difficult to find dedicated time for tax preparations. As the end of the year approaches, the task of collecting all the necessary documents can become overwhelming. Fortunately, we're here to assist you in kickstarting the tax season!

Cindi Crowley has been preparing taxes since 2009. As a certified enrolled agent, Cindi started her own business, Taxes360, LLC, where she focuses on individuals and small business owners. Bringing humanity to the numbers is Cindi’s expertise. She works with her clients on the importance of first knowing your tax structure and then working on maximizing profits.

This workshop includes the important tax dates for business owners, expenses, and processes that may help save you money on your tax returns. We will discuss the “why” of the expenses and tips that can be used in preparing the business taxes. Are you keeping ALL your receipts? We can help you with how many of the products and services that you have purchased over the year can be included in the Schedule C-small business expense form.

Key Learnings:

  • Understanding the “why” of having all your receipts and documents organized throughout the year.
  • Maximize your profits and minimize your taxes.
  • Collaborating with other small business owners for best practices and current ideas.

On Tuesday, January 23rd at 12:00 pm, Patrick Caufield from Edward Jones will be hosting a Webinar with special guest

January 21st – 27th marks a significant period in the digital world:

Data Privacy Week

Every tap, click, and scroll you make online contributes to your digital footprint, leaving a trail of data ranging from personal preferences to sensitive information like Social Security numbers and health records. This data is invaluable, not just to you, but to various websites, apps, and services that utilize it for different purposes.

While it might seem overwhelming, you're not entirely powerless in the face of digital data collection. During this week, we encourage you to take proactive steps to manage your data privacy. Simple actions like reviewing app permissions, using strong, unique passwords, and being mindful of the information you share online can significantly impact your digital safety.

At Just Solutions, we believe in the power of collective responsibility when it comes to data stewardship. We're committed to helping organizations like yours safeguard personal information. Whether it's securing sensitive data or providing the tools and knowledge to manage your digital footprint effectively, we're here to support you in creating a safer digital environment for everyone.
