The Penfield Players are excited to present "Witch", written by Jen Silverman and directed by Jesika Barnes.

The devil arrives in a quiet village to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. Cast out by the town as a “witch,” Elizabeth should be their easiest target, but her soul is not so readily bought. As the devil returns again and again to convince her, unexpected passions flare, alliances are formed, and the village is forever changed.

An inventive retelling of a Jacobean drama, this sharp, subversive fable debates how much our souls are worth when hope is hard to come by.

Performances will run from October 24 - November 8.

As we prepare to celebrate 65 years of proudly serving the Town of Penfield as The Penfield Volunteer Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. (PVEA) we have exciting news to share. Since March 2024, we have also been the Emergency Medical Services provider for the entire Town of Webster and recently signed a five-year agreement as Webster’s long-term EMS partner.

As part of this growth, we are rebranding as Penfield Webster EMS. We continue to provide the same trusted, high-quality care you have always received. Our Articles of Incorporation remain “The Penfield Volunteer Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc.,” and we are still governed by a community-based Board of Directors comprised of residents of both Penfield and Webster.

We have increased our facilities, staffing and ambulance coverage to ensure a rapid emergency response, while also supporting community events, public safety initiatives, and training opportunities in both towns. We are deeply grateful to the residents, fire districts, and town boards of both communities for their strong support.
