What is the PBID?

For more than 20 years, the Downtown San Diego PBID – also known as the Downtown Partnership Clean & Safe program has been listening to and addressing Downtown’s needs by providing improvements, services, and activities above and beyond what the City of San Diego provides. These include maintenance, safety, and beautification services that are funded by a special assessment shared by property owners within the 275 blocks included in the district. To ensure PBID services are meeting property owner needs, the district is renewed every 10 years.
