PBIS Team Training
January 16, January 29, and February 13, 2020
Three-Day Team Training

This comprehensive three-day training will provide school districts and community school teams with essential elements for implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

The topics covered include exploring school-wide attitudes towards behavior, determining what is already in place in regard to behavior intervention, and choosing next steps.

During the training, teams will begin to develop a district-wide common office discipline referral form, three to five expectations, and a behavior matrix.
Team Composition
Teams must be composed of at least one administrator along with a variety of teachers and/or related service providers. Additional team members such as paraprofessionals are welcome.  
  • Dates: January 16, January 29, and February 13, 2020

  • Time: Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The training is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Location: ESC of Lake Erie West, 2275 Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo, Ohio

  • Presenters: ESC and SST Region 1 Staff Members certified to provide PBIS training

  • Lunch: Lunch will be on your own

  • Cost: There is no cost for this training

  • Contact Hours: Eighteen (18) contact hours are available for the three-day training.
