Since the weather is warmer, let’s start off with a camping video clip.
Daniel the Adventure Tiger Goes Camping | Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood (58 seconds)
In this video clip, Daniel pretends that he is a brave tiger going on a camping trip.
Pretend play is a wonderful tool for children to build confidence and overcome fears. Through pretend play, children act out roles that may help them look at a situation or a fear in a different way. Along with this video clip is an information sheet with Fred Rogers’ wisdom about children and fears that you can use in your program and share with families. https://static.pbslearningmedia.org/media/media_files/Children___Fears.article_1.pdf
