GEORGE LEWIS
Thru 6/16
George is a retired physician with a passion for art as expressed through the medium of photography. In eighth grade, George made his first darkroom print with his grandfather’s enlarger. In high school, he was a photographer for the school paper and yearbook, and continued in this function at Stanford. After medical school and while pursuing his career in pediatrics, he studied the Zone System of Ansel Adams. He attended a series of workshops, emphasizing photography as fine art, with John Sexton, Bruce Barnbaum, Jay Dusard, and others. When attending the PCA Main Stage productions, be sure to stop in the lobby to view these exceptional photographs.
