REFLECTIONS EXHIBIT
Thru 3/21/20
Reflections can be seen, felt or experienced. Visual reflection is when light bounces off an object. The surface may be smooth and shiny like glass or water, or textured, including moving water. All objects are possible to convey reflections: people, animals, nature in landscapes or subtle sky and clouds. Mirrors also can convey perceptions of reflections - from clear to blurry visuals. Feelings reflect a response to a particular stimulus. All mediums are represented.

Steve was born in 1946 in Evanston, Illinois. He likes to create photographs that transform subjects into abstractions of shapes and patterns. He chooses objects that have pleasing, interesting, or dynamic shapes which may also be dramatically lighted. He starts with the complete image and removes everything that does not, in some way, strengthen the viewer’s emotional reaction.
