Like you, we have been both saddened and motivated by recent events. Despite the destruction and grief of the past few months, PCA is getting ready to move forward with your help.
We are asking you to consider donating $50 dollars to honor our Golden Anniversary and to ensure that we have another 50 years to provide creative arts programs for generations to come with our “Save Your Community Theater” campaign.
Like almost everyone, we were hit hard. Despite losing over $150,000 we continue to move forward with innovation and collaboration. PCA’s is actively focusing on community in time of crisis by deploying volunteers and efforts for:
1) the “PCA Serves” program, serving with a variety of needs that came up because of the pandemic
2) the “PCA at Home” program, a virtual entertaining and community art connection
3) the “PCA Cabaret program” a transformation of our Mainstage into a Cabaret which will allow for tables and appropriate social distancing. This will include a variety of food and beverage options with the support of community restaurants and nonprofits.
Being safe while helping community art programing-truly a win-win opportunity!
The expressive arts help us process our experiences, help us heal, and bring us together. Art is human development. We will not have to close our doors…yet. But we need your support to ensure that PCA not only survives but thrives.
