TENNESSEE PRAYER INITIATIVE

by Main Street MediaTN

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Prayers for Tennessee have been spreading across the state throughout the month of July, starting in the east and moving westward, in response to the General Assembly’s passage of and Gov. Bill Lee’s signing of a bill this year proclaiming July a month of prayer, fasting, repentance and spiritual renewal for the state.

Kay Horner, PCCNA Women's Ministry Chairperson, led prayer at the Bradley County Courthouse event and shared: "The presence of the Lord was tangible as state, county, and city officials joined pastors and leaders from various denominations and cultures confessing our sins and acknowledging our desperate dependency on God for a true Christ awakening throughout the state and nation."
