Olympic Stadium

Participants prayed around the world and were commissioned to take the gospel to the nations and to every person on Earth!
AMSTERDAM, June 27, 2023 – The Amsterdam2023 EveryONE conference concluded Saturday with a global worship, prayer, and commissioning service for the thousands who gathered in the Netherlands this week before returning to their home countries. More than 5,000 individuals from more than 125 nations attended the conference in person at the historic RAI Convention Centre with thousands more joining online from 150 countries around the world.
Saturday’s event began at 1:00 p.m. after 700 conference attendees participated in outreach throughout the city during the morning, inviting guests to join the evening portion of the event at the Olympic Stadium, which included a free concert with the Australian band PlanetShakers and a presentation of the gospel at 6:00 p.m. More than 300 people made decisions for Christ during this time.
Also in attendance were, PCCNA President, Rev. David Wells, and Women's Commission Chairperson, Rev. Kay Horner (Awakening America Alliance).
“Aligned for Mission” has been PCCNA’s theme in 2023, and that is what we certainly experienced at Amsterdam2023. Aligned in unity for a global demonstration of prayer, re-personalized evangelism, NextGen leadership, Spirit-empowerment, multiplication of disciple-making communities, digital mission, and so much more. That is what 5,000+ persons of local, national, and global influence experienced and contributed to through the multi-faceted program in Amsterdam. A number of PCCNA-related leaders participated and commented on the tremendous sense of the Lord’s presence at work in our unity and missional alignment. PCCNA honors the vision and sacrificial service of our PCCNA members at Empowered21 and Oral Roberts University who, led by Dr. Billy Wilson, facilitated an event with such kingdom impact. On to 2033!"–Rev. David R. Wells
“It was wonderful to gather with thousands of Christians from around the world to commit to a global evangelism initiative that EVERYONE on planet earth could hear a gospel presentation by 2033. It was particularly meaningful for Johanna and several members of her family to attend the closing rally in the Olympic Stadium, the exact place where their Buddhist mother heard Billy Graham share the gospel for the very first time and surrendered her life to Christ.”–Rev. Alton Garrison.*To learn more, read the book "Tangled Destinies" by Johanna Garrison.
"Beginning with Sunday's pre-conference prayer summit at God's Embassy Church and throughout the week, we experienced synergy, unity, and a sense of Spirit-empowered purpose unprecedented in global leadership gatherings. Dr. Wilson challenged the church to address the greatest injustice in history—"Millions of people have not heard about Jesus." Through dynamic speakers, panel discussions, and collaboration sessions, Holy Spirit was asking us to give God a blank page as He is doing a new thing in our world. The message will always be the same, but our methods must align with His for this decade of accelerated harvest! We can not afford to objectify or devalue anyone because EveryONE we encounter is longing for the redemptive love of Christ. As Christine Caine reminded us, "When you look, you can look away. When you see, you can never look away." Our vision must be aligned with Christ's to truly see people in need!"–Rev. Kay Horner

MAKING HISTORY!!!
UPCAG INSTALLS NEW
INT'L PRESIDING ELDER,
PASTOR LYDIA P. THOMAS
by Sandra Jones // UPCAG
It is with great pleasure that the United Pentecostal Council of the Assemblies of God announces the installation of Pastor Lydia P. Thomas to the office of International Presiding Elder. This auspicious installation took place at the UPCAG 2023 Convention in Summerville, South Carolina on July 14th, 2023. This is an historic occasion as it is the first time in 104 years that UPCAG has elected a woman as the International Presiding Elder.
Pastor Lydia Thomas has served as General Secretary and Assistant Presiding Elder next to Pastor Thomas Barclay over the last 13 years and is well qualified to fulfill this role. In addition, Pastor Thomas is currently the pastor of End Times Ministries Outreach Center, an inner-city church located in Chicago, IL. Pastor Lydia is a PCCNA Executive Committee Member, faithfully serving in the role of Secretary for the past three years. Her ultimate goal is to complete the work assigned to her hands and hear the Lord say, "Well done".
We honor Pastor Lydia for her dedicated service unto the Lord, UPCAG and PCCNA. We join with the UPCAG in this historic moment and celebrate her election as the first female Int'l Presiding Elder in the history of the denomination.
Join with us in prayer for Pastor Lydia and the UPCAG during this season of leadership transition.

THE UNCOMFORTABLE MIDDLE
by Elaine McDavid // Evangel Magazine
Church of God Publications
INTERCESSORY PRAYER is the bridge between lostness and salvation. Some believe that anyone can come to Christ anytime—no intercessory bridge is necessary. Reject Christ today; accept Him tomorrow. The sinner decides. We increasingly feel our intervention is inappropriate, our intercession unnecessary.
Jesus declared, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44 NKJV). The Greek word means “to drag.” God, through the Holy Spirit, drags the person to Jesus. Pretty dramatic. In the same conversation, Jesus repeated this assertion: “No one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father” (v. 65 NKJV). Salvation begins with God. We don’t come; we are drawn.
