Online Research Resources
Did you know that you can do library research right from home? Pinal County Libraries offer a suite of subscription research databases that you can access for free from our website. Just click on the Research tab.

Research databases provide full-text online access to thousands of peer-reviewed academic journals, popular magazines, and reference books -- as well as images, audio files, and primary source documents.

You can search across more than a dozen of these resources simultaneously, simply by typing what you're looking for in the Gale Power Search box at the top of our list databases. It's just like searching the Web, but with results you know you can trust!
Book Club Kits

Do you love talking about books? Maybe you attend one of the regular books clubs at our Pinal County Libraries. Or maybe you're thinking about starting a book club of your own...

Pinal County libraries have Book Club Kits to get your club started or to keep it going! Our Book Club Kits include 8-10 copies of a popular title, plus a handy booklet with reviews, author information, and questions to help spark a lively discussion. We even include a list of "read-alike" titles so if you enjoy the book, you can find others like it.

A list of our Book Club Kits can be found in the Reader Resources section of our website; just click on the "Book Clubs" tab. You can also simply type "Book Club Kit" into our catalog search box. You'll find hundreds of kits available. Click "Place Request" in our catalog for the title you want, and we'll ship it right to your library for pick up. Book club kits check out for an extended period, and they're renewable -- just like the rest of our materials.
