Bring on the sunshine! As the weather continues to get warmer, and vaccines continue to roll out at record pace, it seems like we are getting closer and closer to some sense of normalcy. Our team continues to be very hopeful for the coming weeks and months and we are looking forward to getting back out into the community to visit with you later this year.

Skills Training Corner: Demographic Changes
Have you or your PCAs had any changes to your demographics in the last year?

If you’re a consumer for the PCA program and had a change in address, phone number or primary care physician within the last year and have not contacted a skills trainer to update the information, please do so as soon as possible. If you are a surrogate and had a change in address or phone number within the last year please contact a skills trainer to update the information.

If you do not know who your assigned skills trainer, please call our main office phone number: 978-762-0301, to get that information.

If any PCAs had a change in their demographic information please have them complete the attached change form and submit to the Fiscal Intermediary Department via fax (978)-624-3755 or mail to 300 Rosewood Drive Suite #100, Danvers MA 01923

Northeast Arc’s New Liberty Tree Mall Location:
The Center for Linking Lives

Have you heard that Northeast Arc has opened a new facility in the Liberty Tree Mall, located in Danvers, MA? This new facility houses our day habilitation and pre-employment programs - as well as offices for many of our other programs. PCM and FI departments will remain at their current address.

The Center for Linking Lives was built for people to learn more about Northeast Arc’s vast amount of programs as well as operating as a facility where people can come together! Some highlights of the space include a technology lab where individuals can learn about and try different technologies that might help them live on their own or be more independent, small meeting rooms where they can meet with speech or occupational therapists or have mock interviews to prepare for meetings with potential employers, and group spaces where social and professional programs can be held. The space has proven to be versatile!

The location also houses a 1,000 Square Foot store front called “parcels” that sells products exclusively made by those with disabilities or by companies owned by people with disabilities.

Meet Dennis Aviles our new Senior Skills Trainer for the East Team.


He has been with the North East Arc for a little more than a year as a Skills Trainer for the South Team. Dennis is on the Newsletter Committee that puts together our monthly Newsletter. In 2020 Dennis was nominated for the Changing Lives Recognition Program. Welcome to the Management Team Dennis we are lucky to have you.

The State of Massachusetts has recently updated its rollout timeline for the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • As of March 22, anyone 60 + or working in specific sectors (transit, grocery, utility, food and agriculture, sanitation, public works, and public health) are eligible for the vaccine
  • On April 5, the vaccine rollout will be expanded to include anyone 55+ with at least one specific medical condition
  • On April 19, the vaccine will be open to the general public

COVID-19 Homebound Vaccination Program:

Please Click here to view more information and details on COVID-19 vaccine eligibility for individuals who require in-home vaccinations because they are unable to leave their home to get to a vaccination site, even with assistance.
If you believe you need an in-home vaccination, please contact the Homebound Vaccination Central Intake Line at (833) 983-0485. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Representatives are available in both English and Spanish, and also have access to translators for over 100 languages.
